'Crust & Craft Pizzeria started with a humble vision: to deliver true Neapolitan pizza to London. Established by the Romano lineage in 1985, our little pizzeria was once a quaint, family-oriented business, boasting recipes that have passed through many generations.
Marco Romano, our progenitor, mastered the craft of pizza-making while exploring Italy, gaining knowledge from renowned pizzaiolos in Naples, where pizza was conceived. Her return to the UK saw her ambition to replicate the exquisite flavor of authentic Italian pizza using age-old techniques and select fine ingredients.
From starting as a cozy 12-seater place, we've flourished into a cherished neighborhood fixture, yet our zeal for supremacy and genuineness hasn't changed. We continue to employ classic wood-fired oven methods, prepare our dough from scratch every day, and choose only premium ingredients.
Nowadays, 'Crust & Craft Pizzeria' is still under family ownership and direction, with the Romano family's second generation at the helm, guiding our enthusiastic crew. Although we've adopted some contemporary conveniences, the essence of what we do—producing delectable, real pizza that unites people—stays unchanged.
